Women’s day Celebration at the National Hospital Colombo

Several programs have been conducted by the Women Lawyers' Association of Sri Lanka to help over the elderly, long suffering women at ward No.3 of the National Hospital Colombo to mark the International Women’s Day which fell on 08th March 2011.

Donation of gifts such as curtains, bed linen, was distributed to the said ward by the Association.

At the same time a Damma Desana and chanting of Pirith for each and every patient was conducted by Poojya Rev.Dedunupitiye Anomadassie thero blessing all the patient for a good health and long life.

The Program was conducted under the guidance of Ms.Ridmika Dep the president (2010/2012) of the Association, with the participation of other office bearers on following an idea of Ms.Sandhya Thalduwa the Secretary(2010/2012) of the Association.
