61st Annual General Meeting Of SLWLA

Sri Lanka Women Lawyers’ Association held its 61st Annual General Meeting at the Auditorium of the Organissation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) on the 24th of March 2024. Hon.Dr.Wijeyadasa Raajapakshe PC, Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs and Constitutional Reforms graced the AGM as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Shiromal Cooray, Managing Director, Jetwing Travels was invited as a Guest Speaker at the AGM and she spoke on “ the Contribution of women to Sri Lankan economy. Ms.Ruchira Gunasekera was the outgoing President who served the association for three years consecutively since January 2021.

Mrs.Shiranthi Gunawardena was elected as the 27th President of SLWLA and the following Office Bearers and the members of the Executive Committee were elected for the year 2024 at the AGM.
