Collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) underscores SLWLA's commitment to addressing critical socio-economic challenges, particularly those affecting rural women. Leveraging UNDP's expertise and resources, SLWLA aims to empower marginalized communities through targeted interventions and capacity-building initiatives. The recent collaboration has culminated in island-wide programs and national workshops, facilitating knowledge exchange and resource mobilization across key districts such as Trincomalee, Kurunegala, Galle and Colombo.

Future Outlook:
Looking ahead, SLWLA is poised to embark on a transformative journey, guided by a robust strategic roadmap informed by collaborative partnerships and stakeholder engagement. The forthcoming five-year action plan will serve as a blueprint for realizing SLWLA's aspirations and advancing its mission of justice, and empowerment.

National Workshop – capacity assessments of Sri Lanka Women Lawyers’ Association for the Women Lawyers in Colombo and Suburbs was held at the Marino Beach Hotel in Colombo 3 on the 16th September 2023.
