Purple Night 2019

The fundraiser for the welfare and empowerment projects for women and children carried out by the Sri Lanka Women Lawyers' Association (SLWLA) , "Purple Night 2019" was held at the B.M.I.C.H Banquet Hall on the 19th October 2019. Chief Justice Hon.Jayantha Jayasuiriya PC , Hon. Justice Yasantha Kodagoda PC - President of the Court of Appeal , Hon. Justice Kumudini Wickremasighe - Judge of the Court Appeal and distinguished Past President of SLWLA, Former Chief Justice Hon. Justice Priyasath Dep PC, Hon. Justice Eva Wanasundera PC- Former Judge of the Supreme Court, Other hon. Judges, President, Office Bearers, Past Presidents and Members of the Executive Committee of SLWLA participated at the event. At the invitation of Ms. Swarna Jayaweera, Presdent of SLWLA Ms.Randima Hulugalle, Attorney-at-Law from Kurunegala Bar was crowned as the "Purple Queen 2019" by the Chief Guest, Chief Justice Hon. Jayantha Jayasuriya PC.
